I guess, like so many other people today, I am deliberately tied to many aspects of life (loved ones, recreation, spirituality, wellness, growth, career, etc.). Aspects which when managed properly will supposedly give you the license to be happy and fulfilled. I feel that I am not even halfway of becoming successful in covering all those areas. There are times when I easily lose track of doing what needs to be done or get consumed in doing something only to digress my focus on the other. People long for things to happen but sometimes there's just a plateful they don't even know what to do or where to start. I'm not sure, but the world may have been evolving rapidly that people are becoming more aware of their horizons; there's just a lot of things to consider, to aspire, to pursue on the different aspects and time is of the essence.
I wish everything is as simple as the life in The Sims3. You have all these really cool options to help you make your life better. You can pause/stop/fast forward time, choose your dominant traits and best part is you can start your life all over again. But that got me into thinking: where's the fun and challenge if I can relive my life several times? Will life even have a meaning if that is possible? Imagine this: you can celebrate your 1st birthday thrice, graduate from college four times, get promoted for the same position for the nth time or propose to someone twice. If that is doable, I think everything will lose its value. Moments will not be moments anymore. That's why even if it's maddening, people should just learn to move past that hazy-confusing stage and get on with life as it is.
Like what I've mentioned a while ago, there's just a bunch of goals on each aspect nowadays. It is crazy catching up with all of it. On one aspect you may be enjoying the view on the hilltop but then you're hanging for your dear life on another. You know what I hate? It's when you thought you're already holding up the correct mix of things then other factors will try to sway it. It's true, people need to be flexible and to have a good balancing act. Even if there's heaps of aspects you want to take control of and wishes that you want to happen, to handle and think about them one day at a time is helpful. Essentially, I would like to think that people can cover all these aspects of life if approached by the right mindset and patience.
