As much as I hate posting melodramatic things on my blog buuut I feel like crying right now.
I feel like our conversation this afternoon was just ordinary for him. There's so much that I needed to say but he ruined the moment. I was on the verge of blurting things that could either lead to -- make or break, all or nothing, fight or flight. Whatever.
I can't remember where I got the courage to be the first one to say hi. At least I tried to be bold. I am proud of myself on that part. But he just brushed off the convo. Like everything seemed normal. I mean it's as if our communication with each other didn't ice out for more or less a month. While I tried to be serious, he was back to playing his antics and sense of humor. He doesn't get it -or- he understands but tries to be oblivious.
After a few words, I decided I can't continue it anymore. I couldn't possibly imagine talking some meaningful matters while he attempts to alter the mood and lead the conversation somewhere else. I hate it when people try to play around when I'm serious. Coz I only get serious once in a blue moon. And when I'm serious, I'm serious. Minsan na nga lang, ganun pa.
Honestly I know he was masking the topic of the discussion, giving both of us the convenience not to be able to talk about something that is sensitive. I guess he was such a coward. I wanted to remind him that I'm a smart girl. I know when people like me and I also get it when people don't like me and I try to accept it as best as I can. I just want the truth. But of course I couldn't get that coz he was careful.
Screw one-sided affection.
I'm tired.
Where's My Shreck??!

I hate people who take credit for other's ideas! Gaaaawd, shame on them! Mahiya naman sana yong mga ganung tao sa balat nila. Can't they be true to themselves? They should atleast acknowledge that it was another person and not them who created that something. Don't they realize that the pride they feel is just superficial? And I can't even think how they take pleasure when they know in their hearts the true story!

Bought this woodcraft thing for 35 bucks. What a bargain! Kind of noticed it among the multitude of designs available. There's just something about the Eiffel Tower. I know , I know. I'm just reminiscing the.... Okaaay... stop.

Anyway, I had this in my hands last Saturday and I just started building it 12 am of Nov. 19. I thought this should be easy. I just have to conjoin the different pieces to create a wood replica of the Eiffel Tower. So basically I started at the bottom part. Good news is there was no trouble connecting the bottom pieces which if I may say are the legs of the tower. Bad news is, it was very difficult to let the legs stand up without breaking the connecting pieces. Alright, I'm no engineer nor architect here so it's just acceptable if I may be having problems building this one. But really, it took me an hour just to let the legs rise on its own. And theeeen when I added the second layer which is like a square piece of wood that should fit on top of the legs of the tower... whoaaaa! Everything dismantled! Hala Goodluck! The one hour I've spent constructing the base went to nothing.

I think the reason why I was having a hard time making the base of the tower unshakable is because the sides of the pieces which need to be fastened to the other parts do not have a uniform size. So my agenda now is to find a glue gun, stick the pieces so that even if it is touched, it won't break. Hopefully I'll get it right next time. I can't imagine I spent one hour just for the bottom part!
To be continued....

Go back to your Wendy.
She’s still the one, right?
At least I’ve tried.
Darn I’m bitter. But yah I am bitter. Bitter and sad.

Great. Hospitalization fees tend to echo the oil price hike happening these days. It feels so awful that the very means that can save a person’s life is worth the sweat, blood and tears of another. I wish that ishee gets well really really soon. I hope her wounds will heal quickly. I know sugar is already stressed. Stressed coz of lack of sleep, stressed coz of the pressure to find cash to pay for the bills, and most especially.. stressed because ishee needs her to be strong at this point in time.

I can't get enough of Pinoy Bags!!! Still surfing the net and voila! I have a new reason again to be proud. Featured in the Vogue Magazine December 2006 issue is Maristela Ocampo and her elegant works of art (that includes bags) made from Philippine indigenous materials. Celestina, the name of her product line for bags captured the foreign market and are selling like hot pancakes in the US and HongKong. Celestina items are also available at Vivre.com.

Displayed below is a handbag that I bought from a recent trip to Bicol. I feel lucky to have this beauty. It's very chic and comes in a very low price. Bought it accidentally at a local store. I noticed this bag while rummaging through the "pasalubong products".

Got a text message this morning. Here it goes:
There are times you'd choose Prince Charming. He'd take you to his castle & dance with you, but would allow you to leave when the clock strikes twelve.
Sometimes you'd meet Spiderman. He'd give you the sweetest kiss and vanishes for all time.
Then you'd find Peterpan. A good guy who will take care of you and fly with you against the winds but then you'd notice that his heart still belongs to Wendy.
So be like princess Fiona...
Find your Shrek. Not perfect but real.

Sometimes you just know...
I think I am destined for a greater cause. I think my footsteps will mark a path different from the usual ones. I want to see the world. I want to know what else is there. I want to know if it is really as splendid as most would describe it. I think I have to take a leap. I think I have to listen to myself, to realize my houghts and follow the beat of my heart. I think I will be happy to meet different kinds of people. I think I want to write well and converse well. I think I should take that time off from the usual environment that I was brought up so that I will know what I am capable of doing. I think I have yet to unfold my greatness. I think I will soar high and spread my wings if I will just focus and believe in myself. I think its time to be brave and patient.

I missed the second session of my dance class all because of that stupid meeting. I call it stupid coz instead of clearing things in the office it has worsened the awful feeling that’s building inside of me.
Now I know how it feels like when one has to suck it up. You know that time when your so much in agony coz you cannot do what you’ve planned for the reason that you gotta do what you’ve got to do.
We were suppose to join the Rumba class. Too bad I needed to stay two hours more. I knew I should have just left earlier without informing anyone. But that would be rude… kind of imagined the reaction of my boss.
At least my dance class dream finally materialized last Monday. That was our first dance session. We were taught to dance Chacha. I found the steps easy. I think I could have just browsed the net for instructional videos or pix and I’d still end up learning how to dance it same way in the dance class. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the session very much. Just the thought of dancing is already a bliss to me. Plus, my friend was also there, we were partners by the way. So made all my efforts of going there worth it.

To be happy right now is a little bit hard to do. I have a headache and it’s because I had a long day today.
I cried two times.
First was when my boss cried in front of me.
Second was when I realized I won’t be ok with what will happen.
I need a hug. I need a corny joke. I need a hand to hold.
Feels like I’m about to burst.

Golly I'm psyched we've all managed to come together in one place again. Not that we were all present literally but at least majority was there. Credit belongs to Kym =P I've got to say its one of my most memorable day this year.. thinking that its been almost 3 or so years since we had like this. I'm really blessed to have these people in my life. Although we tread our own paths, our hearts remain intact.
Still feels like high school days.. just more stories to tell and no more curfews =)
when: Oct. 6, 2007
where: Kym's place

"Hello sis, san na kayo?
Whaat? Bakit ang tagal niyo dyan?
Di na kami susunod. Layo niyan eh. Dito na lang kami mag-antay sa loob ng Rustans.
Oo, dito sa may..... sa...... Shu....
sa Shu.... Shu Uem... (palingon-lingon sa paligid kung meron taong nakikinig)
Basta dito sa tapat ng Dunhill, to your right pag galing escalator."
I need to stop twisty terrible tongue twister brand names from torturing me. Especially those notorious French and German fashion labels. As much as I enjoy looking at their products, it annoys me that I cannot sometimes ask a saleslady about the merchandise for the reason that I am not sure how to pronounce the brand. Likewise, when engaged in a conversation it's such a burden to mention some designers and boutiques. It's quite embarrassing to say words incorrectly.
I browsed the net and found some sites which offer audio files to help people pronounce brand names. They're pretty helpful. A person may not have the means to buy those expensive goods (like me) but at least he may be able to speak the brands decently.
Read on. Although it requires a lot of patience and it cannot be learned overnight, it may somehow help.

Agnes De Mille once said that "To dance is to be out of yourself, larger, more beautiful, more powerful."
I'd like to experience that.
I'd like to be insanely comfortable to move with grace, to swing my hips.. do crossovers and grapevines, to glide and to turn without hesitation...
I'd like to know if I can be one with my body, if I can command myself to extend my arm longer, jump higher and do a routine better than I would have imagined I would do it...
I'd like to take my audience into a reverie.. I'd like to cast a spell on them, like nothing in the world exists except the dancer in front. I'd like to make each step, each wiggle a word and each dance a story.
I'd like to dance and not give a damn.

Sudoku is a logic-based number placement puzzle. The objective is to fill a 9x9 grid so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3x3 boxes (also called blocks or regions) contains the digits from 1 to 9, only ONE time each (that is, exclusively).
The puzzle setter provides a partially completed grid. The general way to solve the problem is when you insert a new number it should be unique in that particular region(blocks)and also in that particular row and column

What is that one thing in your life that you have to have no reservations? The question may sound tough but there are certain aspects in our lives that we need to be bold. For some people that aspect may be their principle, faith or ambition, but most would affirm that it is their loved ones which call for a lot of bravery and dedication.
Watched the premiere night of No Reservations last Sept. 21. The movie is starred by Catherine Zeta Jones and Aaron Eckhart. The lead role Kate(Zeta Jones), is a fussy and committed head chef who is endowed with an illustrious career in one of the opulent restaurants in Manhattan. Upon the death of her sister, she will be compelled to take care of her niece who is having a difficult time moving on. Apart from the emotional baggage she has to deal with, her uncompromising character is shaken when a new sous-chef comes into the picture. Nick (Eckhart) is a nonchalant chef who loves to sing opera while cooking and is gifted with a charisma which would help him land a job in the restaurant where Kate works. Abashed by the sudden dislodge of her power in the kitchen, Kate tries to get rid of Nick in her work area, only to realize that Nick may be the one person who can help her connect with her niece and get her to fall in love again.
The movie did not wow me, but in a way it pinched a small portion of my heart. Reminding me of lessons in life that are so fundamental that people often forget. I certainly would have loved if Zeta Jones groomed herself more. I think that she was not at her most endearing beauty in the movie but I guess that's because of the role she portrayed. I'm just accustomed to seeing her regal and charming all the time. It would have helped also if the director added some more twists in the story coz while watching, I seem to have predicted what will happen next and thats a taboo for a good script. Anyhow, it all boils down to being there and watching the movie and enjoying the time.
