sore
I hate people who take credit for other's ideas! Gaaaawd, shame on them! Mahiya naman sana yong mga ganung tao sa balat nila. Can't they be true to themselves? They should atleast acknowledge that it was another person and not them who created that something. Don't they realize that the pride they feel is just superficial? And I can't even think how they take pleasure when they know in their hearts the true story!

lines...lines...
I'm a sucker for punchlines.
Here's one from the movie I've recently watched. I was dragged by my friends, didn't really have plans of watching it. But when I knew Derek Ramsey was part of the cast, I was mega excited couldn't have second thoughts... larga agad.
Going back, I've managed to secure this line which was delivered by the lead actress. This one is a winner =)

tour eiffel
Bought this woodcraft thing for 35 bucks. What a bargain! Kind of noticed it among the multitude of designs available. There's just something about the Eiffel Tower. I know , I know. I'm just reminiscing the.... Okaaay... stop.

Anyway, I had this in my hands last Saturday and I just started building it 12 am of Nov. 19. I thought this should be easy. I just have to conjoin the different pieces to create a wood replica of the Eiffel Tower. So basically I started at the bottom part. Good news is there was no trouble connecting the bottom pieces which if I may say are the legs of the tower. Bad news is, it was very difficult to let the legs stand up without breaking the connecting pieces. Alright, I'm no engineer nor architect here so it's just acceptable if I may be having problems building this one. But really, it took me an hour just to let the legs rise on its own. And theeeen when I added the second layer which is like a square piece of wood that should fit on top of the legs of the tower... whoaaaa! Everything dismantled! Hala Goodluck! The one hour I've spent constructing the base went to nothing.

I think the reason why I was having a hard time making the base of the tower unshakable is because the sides of the pieces which need to be fastened to the other parts do not have a uniform size. So my agenda now is to find a glue gun, stick the pieces so that even if it is touched, it won't break. Hopefully I'll get it right next time. I can't imagine I spent one hour just for the bottom part!
To be continued....

Go back to your Wendy.
She’s still the one, right?
At least I’ve tried.
Darn I’m bitter. But yah I am bitter. Bitter and sad.

ospital
Great. Hospitalization fees tend to echo the oil price hike happening these days. It feels so awful that the very means that can save a person’s life is worth the sweat, blood and tears of another. I wish that ishee gets well really really soon. I hope her wounds will heal quickly. I know sugar is already stressed. Stressed coz of lack of sleep, stressed coz of the pressure to find cash to pay for the bills, and most especially.. stressed because ishee needs her to be strong at this point in time.
Gosh. I know that hospitals are still up for profits amidst the fact that they are the lifeline of everyone else in this world but to charge a hefty amount.. that's really contrary to the very reason why they were established.
All I can say is even though we weren't much of a help with the bills, I know more than that, sugar needs moral support.. at dun umaapaw kaming friends niya.

Celestina
I can't get enough of Pinoy Bags!!! Still surfing the net and voila! I have a new reason again to be proud. Featured in the Vogue Magazine December 2006 issue is Maristela Ocampo and her elegant works of art (that includes bags) made from Philippine indigenous materials. Celestina, the name of her product line for bags captured the foreign market and are selling like hot pancakes in the US and HongKong. Celestina items are also available at Vivre.com.

Proudly Pinoy handbag
Displayed below is a handbag that I bought from a recent trip to Bicol. I feel lucky to have this beauty. It's very chic and comes in a very low price. Bought it accidentally at a local store. I noticed this bag while rummaging through the "pasalubong products".

period
It's hard to make someone notice you. To make him see you when he is surrounded and his eyes are fixated on a flock of scrumptious vixens. It's difficult to show him that what he might be looking for is actually right in front of him. That what he might be needing is not a 36-24-36, heart-pounding, face-that-can-launch-a-thousand-ships lass but a girl whom he can talk 24 hours a day, who brings comfort instead of jitters and who enjoys to be beautiful in the simplest way. Its depressing to be who you are when you know you are not enough and his heart melts for another person.

where's my Shrek
Got a text message this morning. Here it goes:
There are times you'd choose Prince Charming. He'd take you to his castle & dance with you, but would allow you to leave when the clock strikes twelve.
Sometimes you'd meet Spiderman. He'd give you the sweetest kiss and vanishes for all time.
Then you'd find Peterpan. A good guy who will take care of you and fly with you against the winds but then you'd notice that his heart still belongs to Wendy.
So be like princess Fiona...
Find your Shrek. Not perfect but real.

table
There's an adrenaline rush when you see that somebody whom you have a romantic history. Last Tuesday, I was with my officemates waiting for our orders to arrive at my much-loved resto somewhere in BF when a familiar face grabbed my attention. I knew it was him! Even though it was just a glance, I recognized the guy right away. It was one of those awkward moments. Tugging behind him was a petite girl clad in a chic yellow ensemble, his date that night.
They took the table which was parallel to the table next to where I was seated. They sat beside each other on one corner, giving them a view of my left-front-angle. I only bore my eyes on them once. After that I never dared to look again. I knew he saw me too. I'm sure. That time was just not right. Me sitting with my officemates whom I forgot to mention beforehand that they are a couple and that guy sitting right next to his date and then me playing the third wheel to the couple and then an icebreaker to that guy who was having a date that night. Get the picture?
Silly me I began to feel giddy. I hate those kinds of occasions. I think of things like how the guy was enjoying that moment where he can see me lonesome. I just hate it. Not that I have grudges, it was the situation which I did not like. Afraid to spoil my evening, I tried to focus my channel to my officemates and my mobile phone. Simultaneously, I tried to chat, text and savor the pasta I ordered. It somehow worked. What surprised me was when my officemate said that the guy whom I was talking about could hardly eat his food. Of course I hesitated to believe her, but when the guy requested another table, that was when I had a big smile on my face.
I heard them telling the waiter to offer a bigger space because they could hardly fit on that corner since two of their companions arrived. I thought that was quite an excuse. On my way out of the resto, I passed by them seating on their new corner. The table was of exactly the same size as to the one previously occupied by them, nothing changed except that it was far from where my officemates and I were seated. Guess he did not liked the view as well.
When my officemate found out afterwards that the guy was a schoolmate of mine, she was startled. Told me what a snob we were to each other. I was thrown off guard by her comment. Thinking that I was spooked to say even a simple "hi" to him. But it did not matter. I just didn't want to do it first. I don't have any attachments to him, but the thought that he has a companion and I was alone is a not so great idea for me. Sounds childish, but I think I have yet to mature on that phase. On his part, I don't know his reason. It wasn't a good picture after all, two people who knew each other but obviously did not want to greet the other party. Pride, that's the word.
Follow-up:
The day after, I saw him again in one of the malls in Alabang, though he did not see me. It was strange. But this next is more erratic. Just today I saw him for the third time unexpectedly. Again, he did not see me.
