this will just bore you

I'm hating the past days. Everyone started talking about February. In case you were born outside this planet, February means love month. Yeah everybody's got that twinkle in their eyes. The girl sitting near the photocopier machine hums cheesy love songs every 2 hours or so. The despotic manager now seems to show his soft side by asking ideas for an unforgettable date. Its tiring to listen to people whose got so much enthusiasm when they speak about their love life. I know I sound bitter. But when the person next to you literally bugs you every now and then just to discuss how thrilled she is for the coming occasion - wwatda! I am happy for people who are obviously getting a hold of their lovey dovey. I am interested to listen to their stories, but there comes a point when I myself actually draw the line on when to listen and entertain.

Somehow, at the back of my mind I know I am like this because I can't relate to them - to their happiness. I know I won't be able to give them a genuine smile and say "yeah I know how you feel". Writing about this right now evokes poignant feelings. It's sickening to think that the whole world is rejoicing all for the name of love and it's as if you'd like to plot a bomb scare.

My question is are they all really in love or are they just in love with the idea of loving?

I cannot give the answer. I don't even know if it's right to ask this question. It's just that it crossed my mind while they tried to unfold their scoops. My hope is, they are true to whatever they feel towards the person they chose to have a relationship with, may it be a fling or a long-term commitment. Still, I insist they pick the second. Having a fling is exhilarating. It's fun and carefree but it is fleeting. On the other hand, a serious relationship takes time. It slowly grows, it entails a lot of pains and responsibility. But isn't that what everybody longs for? A relationship with someone which is more than having dates and sweet talk but knowing indeed that you'll be smiling no matter what happens coz you've got someone who is genuinely yours alone and who will be with you for real.

Anyways, told you this post will only make you sleep. Ciao. I'm out.

lance & leila

Just like any other tv series, there's a hero and a heroine. And if by chance I'd be asked to organize the casting. Their face should look like this:

Lance

Leila

=) That's the best that I can do with the flash face maker.

like a creepy-looking yaya with face cream

Oh boooy I can see dead people in my dreams.

His name is Mario or was it Mar? Mar something.. actually sounds like it starts with the letter M, I just can't get it right after the dream.

He is gay and when he was still alive he was a make-up artist.

Got all that info coz he told me so. Really it sounds creepy. I didn't wanna believe it but when I woke up everything still seems to be stark.

The dream started in my room. I was fixing the bed linens when suddenly one of my pillows hovered at my back. Like someone said a magic word that caused the pillow to float. When it was already at my back, the pillow case started to slip from the foam and then it lengthened and it began to tie itself around me. Just try to picture a pillow case hugging a person from behind. Only it gets tighter and tighter every minute. I tried to break free. Struggled with the pillow case and luckily I was able to escape.

Next thing I knew, I was running towards the receiving area of our house and then I felt someone touched my ankles. When I turned, no one was there. I froze. Got stuck. Apprehensive to make another step.

When I was finally able to catch my breath, I saw the golden vase which was sitting on the table, slowly rising. I couldn't tell if someone that's invisible was holding it or the object soared on its own. I tried to scream, but fear got a hold of me first. So no voice came out. I darted towards the receiving area, found my mom and brother and told them about the things that happened.

We talked. Fortunately they listened and they appeared to be concerned. The thing is, I was the only one who had that experience. It was ironic, I found it difficult to explain although I could still remember every inch of the story.

While we were busy chatting, my five year old niece arrived and asked me, "Tita what's all that fuss?". I told her what happened and to my surprise she said, "You know what, you're perfectly telling the truth." Relief started to appear on my face. Then she continued, "Actually he is here, right at this very moment. Do you want to see him?"

I was speechless but unknowingly I nodded. My niece told us to turn off all the lights inside the house and light one candle on the spot where she instructed us to huddle. After turning off the last light of the house, I saw a faint reflection of a guy sitting on the floor. The image was so soft, similar to a dreamy-like scene where the light is focused on a certain angle. It was very surreal but there he was sitting like he was still breathing. It was galling to try to define his appearance. I guess what I saw was similar to other people's tales. The ghost simply gives an illusion wherein you cannot remember the exact features of his face.

He started talking. I had both my ears listened. That's when he told me his whereabouts. It was hair-raising. To actually see him and be informed about the things that he spoke of. Also, he confirmed that he was the one who kept bugging me just a few minutes back. When I was about to ask some questions, the dream ended. Felt the real world sinking back.

I wish the dream lasted longer. I wanted to know the purpose of our conversation. He might have unresolved issues or unfinished business maybe? I wish to help although it would really be a spine-chilling task.

haaaalik

Now I understand why my officemate has been blabbing non-stop about this series. I instantly felt like buying a dvd copy of The Coffee Prince when I saw the tribute. Ha! The scenes included here are pristine yet naughty! Stop those dirty thoughts. What I mean is the actor in the film makes 'kissing someone ' a lot more sweeter. They were just so into each other. Don't you wanna be kissed after watching this? I'm drooling haha. ewww.
